Pyrotect Safety 3″ webbing, SFI 16.1-approved 6-point driver restraint harness with Quick Release CAMLOCK system, sewn on pull tabs on all adjusters for easy release. 3-inch shoulder belts standard.
Shoulder harness can come head neck restraint-ready with 2-inch-to-3-inch wide shoulder belt webbing for easier head neck restraint use.
These driver restraints have optional “pull up” or “pull down” lap belts. Ideal for quick driver changes or fast “button up”.

Racing sanctioning bodies and safety committees are pushing for the shift toward a higher standard for driver harnesses, making 6-point (or 7-point) driver restraints mandatory. This is primarily driven by safety standard updates as a result of increased competition speeds and better research into the kinetic energies drivers experience in collisions. Key sanctioning bodies, including the NHRA, NASCAR, and SCCA, having announced that 5-point harnesses will no longer be permitted in several classes with more soon to follow.
