Crow Safety Gear SFI-16.1 6-way 3″ Kam Lock racing “Dog Bone” style driver restraint harness. These harnesses feature 6-way Kam Locks, Dog Bone-style shoulder straps with aluminum adjusters (V-belt wrap-around extra), 50 in. lap belt clip-in, and dual anti-submarine belts clip-in. The restraints include four eye bolts, and are available in various colors and optional configurations. Step up to the Pro Series be selecting the optional black anodized and aluminum hardware and Kam Adjuster options.

Racing sanctioning bodies and safety committees are pushing for the shift toward a higher standard for driver harnesses, making 6-point (or 7-point) driver restraints mandatory. This is primarily driven by safety standard updates as a result of increased competition speeds and better research into the kinetic energies drivers experience in collisions. Key sanctioning bodies, including the NHRA, NASCAR, and SCCA, having announced that 5-point harnesses will no longer be permitted in several classes with more soon to follow.
