Overview

Our refund and returns policy extends to 30 days upon delivery for non-custom orders with no defects or damage. If the item(s) are returned with no defects or damage, a full refund of the purchase price will be provided, including manufacturer defects or other issues that are not the responsibility of Mayeda Motorsports. If after 30 days have passed since delivery of your purchase, and we were not informed prior, we can only offer store credit of the purchase price with a 15% re-stocking fee if orders are returned with no defects or damage. There are no returns or refunds for custom-order parts.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. To initiate your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please contact us with your receipt number or date of purchase for a Return Authorization (RA) number. Clearly write the RA number on the outside of the packaging before shipping back to us.

Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Customized or custom-tailored equipment cannot be returned.

Once you have received a Return Authorization (RA) number, please ship the item(s) for delivery to us within 30 days of when the Return Authorization number has been issued to:

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  • Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery
  • Any item that is delivered more than 30 days after Return Authorization number has been issued

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, we will issue a refund, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within five business days upon refund approval.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at {email address}.

Sale items

Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective from manufacturer or damaged during shipping. If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at: sales@mayedamotorsports.com to request a Return Authorization number.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

We always highly recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. Since we are not in control of any third-party shipping service, we do not and cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Proposition 65 Warning

Proposition 65 requires businesses to provide warnings to Californians about significant exposures to chemicals that cause cancer, birth defects or other reproductive harm. These chemicals can be in the products that Californians purchase, in their homes or workplaces, or that are released into the environment. A number of chemicals that have been used either as flame retardants, or to enhance the flame-retardant properties of other chemicals, are on the Proposition 65 list.
