Description
These SFI-3.3 DJ Safety arm restraints are SCTA-approved for land speed racing with the 3-bar slider – a must have for open cockpit race cars. These arm restraints, properly adjusted, are designed to keep the driver’s arms and hands inside the cockpit of the race car during an accident. The arm restraints fasten with Velcro straps, making them easy to adjust to fit over the forearm of the driver suit. The slider adjusters permit adjustment to the length of the restraint strap so the driver can reach vehicle controls, etc.
Many sanctioning organizations require arm restraints for competition in open cockpit and center-steer race cars and vehicles. Arm restraints are sold in pairs.
