NecksGen has made a complete overhaul to its line of driver restraint racing harnesses. They will still carry the SFI 16.1 certification and come in two webbing widths to fit your application and sanctioning body’s requirements, but they have been improved in every way.
All restraints will include a new lap adjuster that is integrated directly into the camlock tab. This means that the adjuster will be closer to the centerline, and you won’t lose the adjustment into the side of the seat. Everything is in a much more compact package, right in the center.
The new lightweight polyester webbing stands up to heat use and the elements for longer. The aluminum slide adjusters make adjustments and tightening much easier than before. Bright red handle pulls at each end will assist in locating and pulling the straps tight. Elastic pulls are included (for optional use) for those who want the lap belts to automatically spring out to the sides of the seat to make getting in and out a faster and smoother operation. No more searching for the lap belt when you’re in a hurry to strap back in.
All driver restraint sets come in the 6-point configuration. Why 6-point? Safety. With more and more sanctioning bodies requiring 6-point harnesses, NecksGen is staying ahead of the curve and offering it at no extra cost. 6-point harnesses are much stronger because the 5th point crotch has always been the weakest link, and add to that, a 6-point configuration is much more comfortable.
The harnesses come in standard 3-inch wide webbing, and HANS-ready 3-inch wide webbing with 2-inch wide shoulder belts for easier head neck restraint use.
Clip-in tabs and eye bolts are included at the ends.
